The Little River Cloggers are actually comprised of several groups based of groups based on age and experience.
Begineers
Young beginner class starts learning the basic steps, taking direction and working together as a team.
Bronze
Once the younger learn basic steps and can take direction they often move up to the bronze team. Silver and Gold team members often help with instructions and practice. This is the youngest team that competes and participates in in events.
Bronze Team at the State Fair
Silver
After the dancers gain experience and learn more advanced routines they move up to silver. Silver and Gold teams often dance together at demonstrations, competitions, and events, and gold team members often dance with the silver team for specific routines.
Silver Team dances at Duke Homestead
Gold
Gold Team is the most advanced of the teams and often the main group for demonstrations, competitions, and events.
Gold Team has a special routine on Military Appreciation Day at the Fair
Adult
A smaller group of adults, supplemented by gold and silver members dance together, but only occasionally compete or participate in events or demonstrations.
Adult Team competes at NC State Fair
A lot of what takes place, from getting dancers to performances, to making costumes, to encouragement, comes form the moms!
